Lake City Food Shelf
Open Hours:
Tuesdays 1-3 PM
Thursdays 9-11 AM
2nd & 4th Saturdays 9-11 AM
The mission of the Lake City Food Shelf is to address the needs of people experiencing food insecurity.
In an atmosphere that respects the dignity and privacy of our clients, our volunteers offer a wide variety of items, including frozen meat, dairy products, eggs, cooking ingredients, canned and fresh vegetables, and personal items. While our principal service area conforms to the boundaries of Lake City Independent School District 813, we welcome anyone in need of the resources we can provide. Patrons fill out a selection sheet for dry goods, frozen, and dairy, and then come in for fruits and vegetables while volunteers fill the order.
